hWho are we...
At Hour House, we love serving Seniors! We are a small, community minded, not-for-profit,
What do we do?
We offer art, and mental health workshops for Seniors, and we love seeing the difference a few Hours can make!
From the time when they walk into the workshop, and are typically a bit insecure about their ability to complete the project, to a few short Hours later, when the workshop is completed, and they are so proud of what they have accomplished, there is a definite transformation that occurs!
At Hour House, those Hours in-between, are magical!
-
Imagine getting into the drivers seat of your life and taking control of your physical or mental health situation.
No more slipping through the cracks. It’s your HOUR, It’s your TIME. Time to be proactive and get your life back!
Let us show you what ADVOCACY can mean to your life!
-
Hour House uses education, advocacy, creativity, and inspiration to serve the needs of our clients. We meet them where they are at. We teach our clients to learn to approach their physical or mental health challenges from a place of empowerment and ownership.
-
Beaten down, frustrated, and discouraged. These are all common states our clients are in when they find us.
We encourage Hour clients to step into the decisions they can control, and accept and and even love, that which they can’t control.
It is truly magical to see them learning to love their life, not despite their limitations, but see it expand because of them!
-
We are patients too, and we feel we can better serve our clients because we understand the struggles and live them every day, right alongside our clients.
We believe those who get up every day and face physical and mental challenges are the real, everyday heroes out there, and we applaud our clients courage.
-
We help clients live their best life, not despite their challenges, but learning to love them, appreciate them, and value the person they have become because of their challenges.
Our strategy is to educate, advocate, inform, and even inspire hope in others. We help Hour clients re-awaken to their purpose, and find meaning, joy and fulfillment, in their life, and live a life of service and gratitude for what they have, instead of living in a constant state of mourning over what they perceive they’ve lost.
