Kristina’s Story

When a loved one is experiencing mental or physical health challenges, the holidays can be an especially heartbreakingly difficult time,

Christmas 2021 was that difficult time one for this mom. Kristina reached out to me through our partner, "Holly's ♥️ Homes". This mom inquired about a place to stay, over Christmas.  

A short time before Christmas, the unimaginable happened, when her son, in his early 20's, had been found, dead of a drug overdose, in his home. This was the home where they all were planning to gather for Christmas. She couldn't bare the thought of being in that home, without him there, and with nothing but the sad memory of finding him there, in that home, to taunt her during Christmas. 

Through our partnership, we were able to help place this family in a lovely home for Christmas.  The Mom even went out and purchased an angel, which she placed, reverently, at the entryway of the home.  

Their angel was very much present with them, as they shared those precious days, and HOURS together.
